Inspired by old book illustrations bought in Sicily, the Map Stories From The Sea Wallpaper by Dekornik has illustrations from times when people discovered new lands, and those undiscovered parts of the world seemed to them full of strange creatures, principals, treasures.
The map wallpaper features elephants, octopuses, islands with volcanos, fortresses and palm trees.
Colours: The map is kept in warm tones – beige, shades of yellow. All blue elements have been slightly muted so that there are no strong contrasts on the map.
Vintage Filter: The wallpaper is drawn with a delicate filter resembling an old card or old map.
